B2BEventJobs.com is a hand-curated job board for the B2B events, conference, and trade show industry, operated by Adam Zeiff, doing business as B2BEventJobs.com ("we," "us"). We respect your privacy. We collect only what we need to run the site and keep you informed about jobs you care about. We never sell your personal information.

This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. It applies to b2beventjobs.com, our job alert emails, and our related services.

Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Job alerts: your email address and how often you want alerts (daily or weekly).
• Scout, our AI job matcher: the messages you type, such as your background, the roles you're interested in, and your location preferences.
• Resume review and writing services: your name, email, resume, and anything else you choose to share.
• Employers, recruiters, and coaches: contact details, company information, and job listings you submit, plus billing details for paid listings.
• Messages to us: anything you send when you contact us directly.

Information collected automatically: basic usage data such as pages visited, device and browser type, general location (city or country level), and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and Google Analytics.

We don't ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you not share it in Scout or in resume submissions beyond what a resume normally contains.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Send the job alerts you signed up for, at the frequency you chose
• Match you with relevant listings through Scout
• Deliver resume review and writing services you request
• Publish and manage job listings, partner profiles, and coach profiles
• Process payments for paid listings and services
• Respond to your questions and requests
• Understand how the site is used so we can improve it
• Keep the site secure and prevent spam or misuse

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Scout suggests listings; it does not make hiring decisions.

Email communications

Job alerts. When you sign up for job alerts, we email you new listings on the schedule you choose. That's all the sign-up covers.

Newsletter and updates. We send The Run of Show, our hiring-insights newsletter, and occasional updates about B2BEventJobs.com only if you opt in separately. Signing up for job alerts does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

Unsubscribing. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You can also email us at privacy@b2beventjobs.com and we'll remove you. Opting out of one type of email doesn't affect the other.

How we share information

We never sell or rent your personal information, and we never share your email address with employers, recruiters, or advertisers.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site. They process it on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the site, or as part of a sale or merger of the business. In that case, this policy would continue to apply to your information.

If you apply to a job listed on the site, you'll usually be sent to the employer's own careers page or application system. Anything you submit there is governed by that employer's privacy policy, not ours.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand how visitors use it through Google Analytics. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

How long we keep information

We keep your email address as long as you're subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we keep only what's needed to honor that choice. Resumes and service materials are kept only as long as needed to deliver the service and handle follow-up questions, then deleted on request or within 12 months. Job listings are removed from the site within 45 days of posting.

How we protect information

We use reputable providers with industry-standard security, limit access to the people who need it, and never store full payment card details. No online service is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Visitors outside the United States

B2BEventJobs.com is operated from the United States, and your information is processed there. If you're in the EU, UK, or another region with data protection laws, we rely on your consent (job alerts and newsletter), on providing the services you request (Scout, resume services, listings), and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Show you the personal information we hold about you
• Correct anything that's inaccurate
• Delete your information
• Stop sending you emails
• Withdraw consent you've given

Email privacy@b2beventjobs.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is intended for working professionals and is not directed at anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let subscribers know by email.
